What makes your holidays special?
Since Miona was born, the holidays have become even more special and meaningful in our home, and since she was born at the beginning of December, she was already the smallest participant in the preparations for the festive atmosphere when she was less than a month old.
The warmth of home, the traditional Christmas tree, dear people gathered together, delicious food, and the joy of children when they open their New Year's gifts make the holidays truly special.
What is your favorite holiday tradition?
Holiday traditions are nurtured and passed down through generations; what I did as a child, I now try to pass on to my own child, but we also create new traditions of our own...
So, in addition to decorating the tree together and preparing Christmas cookies, making an Advent calendar this year, into which we pack 10 small gifts that are opened every day from December 20th to 31st, has become one of our favorite holiday rituals that we will turn into a tradition.
How did you include Miona in the holiday decorating?
Mom was in charge of setting up the tree and lights, but for the final touch we waited for Miona, so hanging the paper ornaments and decorating the tree was our joint task.
Which part of the holiday decor does she look forward to the most?
The moment the lights are turned on, the glowing houses, and the paper stars on the windows cause the greatest excitement and delight.
How do you choose gifts for Miona?
When I choose a gift for the holidays, her birthday, or any other important day, besides choosing what is interesting for her age at that moment, I choose gifts that are high-quality and will last.
The current favorites for our age (2 years old) are dolls, baby strollers, and a wooden play kitchen.
What would you single out as the best moment during the holidays?
I couldn't single out just one moment, because December as a month where holiday euphoria is felt at every step, and the home exudes a special warmth and brings together people dear to us, children looking forward to Santa Claus, New Year's songs, and moments when we all cook together, snack on cinnamon cookies, and open gifts are our most beautiful moments.
